After playing with both sites, I'm gonna have to go with Goodreads on this debate. Visually, Goodreads agrees with my eye and it was generally more user friendly. LibraryThing's word clouds made me want to look away. I see how they both have great points, but my vote is definitely for Goodreads as far as which one I like better and which one I'll use.
And as far as paying/not paying for a site and their service......I'm all about free! Anything I can do or use that's free is always better than paying.
